Prof Baskerville congratulated all his fellow graduates at the ceremony and made special mention of those who graduated as the first people in their family to get a degree because he was also the first person in his family to go to university and get a degree. He told the graduates that "Getting a first degree is like opening up a bag of crisps, once you taste one, you want the whole bag." In his inspiring talk, he encouraged graduates to stand on the shoulders of giants and constantly seek new horizons and ways of looking at things.
