The Department of Informatics and the Department of Information Science from the University of Pretoria will engage in a special UNESCO-funded Information Literacy training initiative at Kgoro Primary School, at the Zithobeni township in Bronkhorstspruit, east of Pretoria.

The Argentine football team is in the most fortunate position of all the nations participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup Tournament, says Mr Carlos Sersale di Cerisano, the Argentine ambassador to South Africa for the last four and a half years.

We used the Elluminate to offer an international lecture from a colleague in Seattle, Washington, USA to the Pavement Design post graduate class during the second block week of 2010. In this process, Prof Joe Mahoney (University of Washington) lectured from his office in Seattle to the UP students in Pretoria on the AASHTO Pavement Design method
