Suggestion of Nazi photographic pose not aligned with the University Of Pretoria's institutional values

The University of Pretoria (UP) is aware of an earlier suggestion made by student DJs of TuksFM to create a new social media photo craze by posing like a Nazi. This suggestion, made on the spur of the moment by inexperienced trainee radio DJs, was posted on the Bang-Bang Breakfast page, the Internet blog of the TuksFM morning radio programme. The blog entry was posted in the context of individuals being photographed in all sorts of bizarre poses, such as the social media crazes of so-called planking and owling.
