The Department of Science Mathematics and Technology Education was formally established in January 1 2003 with Prof Gilbert Onwu as Head of Department and has an organisational structure that enhances the fulfilment of its stated mission, goals and objectives and provides for the effective participation of staff and students in matters academic and social.
