Student parking

Because there is limited parking on campus, it is very important that you secure a Parking Disk for your vehicle All applications are processed by the Customer Service Centre.

It is our pleasure to inform you that Post-graduate students and students on satellite campuses (not Hatfield) are now able to apply for their parking discs online.

Note that these students will only be able to apply after they have completed the registration process. Undergraduate Hatfield campus students or residence students will unfortunately not be able to make use of this system. Residence students will still be able to apply via their residence Admin HC or at the parking disc counter in the Client Service Centre.

After the completion of the online application, the parking disk may be collected from your campus's CSC parking disc counter. All registered satellite campus students and Post-graduate students will be able to apply via this online system for a relevant parking disc.

Park-and-Ride facility

The University of Pretoria’s Park-and Ride facility for students operates between the Hatfield campus and LC De Villiers Sports Complex

The parking area to be used is right next to the Daan Swiegers Building on LC De Villiers which is south of the rugby stadion
There will be guards on duty to facilitate parking
Students must show a valid student card on request
From LC De Villiers: Busses leave every hour from 07:00 to 17:00 and drop students on the corners of South Street and Hilda Street
From Hatfield campus: Busses leave from the corners of South and Hilda Streets every hour at 20 minutes to hour with the last bus leaving at 17:40
The Park-and-Ride facility is free of charge
The service will be monitored and formally evaluated every three months to determine its continuation and or adjustment.
