The above three clinics are private clinics operating within the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital. The Exotic Animal Clinic and the Ophthalmology Clinic see cases from the hospital as well as accepting first opinion and referred cases from outside the hospital. The Dental Clinic accepts only referred cases from the hospital and from outside. Referring veterinarians as well as owners of animals are welcome to contact these clinics to make arrangements for animals to be seen. While the hospital administrative staff will assist with the registration process when animals are presented, all other administrative aspects, including invoicing and payment, are done by the clinics themselves.
