About us
The Equine Clinic is custom-designed and boasts 45 well-ventilated, light and roomy indoor stables plus spacious work areas. Special accommodation is provided for intensive care patients, mares with foals, and horses suffering from neurological problems.
Veterinarians in the Equine Clinic have high-tech equipment and two state-of-the-art theatres at their disposal, and procedures such as endoscopy, ECG, laser, ultrasonography, digital radiography and nuclear imaging are regularly performed to aid in patient diagnosis. A high-speed treadmill, situated on campus at the Equine Research Unit, is available if required, to assist in the assessment of lameness.
