Congratulations to Dr Gus Waschefort

Dr Gus Waschefort obtained his Ph.D. degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London at the beginning of April 2012.
The Faculty is proud to announce that another lecturer has obtained a Ph.D. degree.
The title of Dr Gus Waschefort's dissertation is 'Child Soldiers and International Law: Progressing Towards "an Era of Application"?'. He completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr Catherine Jenkins, University of London. The two examiners were Professor Robert Cryer (Birmingham) en Dr Chaloka Beyani (The London School of Economics).
The final defence of his dissertation was on 4 April 2012 and he passed without any corrections required. Gus worked full-time on his degree for approximately three years in London, made possible by the prestigious Laurie Dippenaar/FirstRand Scholarship for International Postgraduate Studies that he received during 2007.
