CONTRACT RESEARCH

such as digestibility studies on dog foods is also performed on a regular basis. A special service of UP Nutrilab is that an animal nutritionist from the Department evaluates all results on analyses completed. Data is validated and interpreted, and recommendations and advice are included in reports to costumers.

QUALITY CONTROL

To ensure the highest possible accuracy in the assays conducted, standard reference samples are included in all batches of samples analysed. UP Nutrilab also participates in a quality control programme for feed laboratories in South Africa, AgriLASA.
