Thea Illsley from the Department of Procedural Law attended the 24th Annual Conference of the International Society for the Reform of the Criminal LawBy Elzet HurterPosted on 24 March 2012 During August 2011, Thea Illsley attended the 24th Annual Conference of the International Society for the Reform of the Criminal Law in Ottawa, Canada. Mrs Illsley delivered a paper entitled "South Africa's new 'rape shield' law: global solution for a local problem" . Other South Africans attending the conference included Judge Dunston Mlambo of the Labour Appeals Court and Professor Stephan Terblanche from UNISA. The photo was taken at the closing dinner of the Conference.  |
