Ms Zita Hansungule

Position, academic and professional qualifications

Ms Hansungule is a project coordinator of the Centre's monitoring, evaluation and communication projects. She began working full- time at the Centre for Child Law in 2012 as the assistant project co-ordinator in the Centre’s monitoring, evaluation and communication projects. She obtained her LLB Degree in 2011 at the University of Pretoria.

Academic and professional experience

In 2011 Ms Hansungule worked part-time at the Centre for Child Law as a student assistant. She obtained a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation at the University of Pretoria in 2012. She is currently pursuing her LLM in Child Law at the University of Pretoria with a focus on the socio economic rights of children with disabilities in South Africa.

Areas of interest

Her main areas of interest are: Children and the law; with special interest in Child Justice issues and the law relating to children with disabilities and unaccompained foreign children.
