There aren’t many better ways to get students excited about academic matters than to kick-off the third-year Practical Project course in Marketing Management by giving each BCom (Marketing Management) student a free Chip ’n Dip and a cool drink. This initiative forms part of the practical project the marketing students will be doing for Potatoes SA (PSA), during which students are required to develop creative marketing campaigns for PSA.

One lucky third-year BCom (Marketing Management) student was thrilled to have won an iPad4 during class on 10 April 2013. This special event formed part of the BCom (Hons) Marketing Management programme, where honours students are involved in the execution of various campaigns for the Gautrain Management Agency.

Melinda Bam, Miss South Africa 2011, was one. So was new 94.7 Highveld Stereo DJ, Alex Caige. Not to mention advertising executives and CEOs – all were successful students in Marketing Management at the University of Pretoria (UP).
