Marc Mundell, not only set a new course record but was also crowned winner of the 30 km race walk.
Teaghan Gauche (ex-TuksSport High School learner and hpc/Tuks Golf Academy player) broke through for his first victory when he won the Border Strokeplay Championship at East London Golf Club against a strong field which included seven of the top 10 players on the Golf Digest Amateur Rankings.
Wikus Weber, hpc sponsored triathlete competed in the 2013 Larache ITU Sprint Triathlon African Cup for SA and finished in 9th place in time of 0:59:38.
South Africa celebrated their 4th consecutive victory in the Regional All-Africa Challenge Trophy (RAACT) with another strong performance in the final round at Centurion Country Club on Thursday 16 May.
Daniel Slabbert claimed a third consecutive Nedbank South African Disabled Golf Open title with a convincing 12-stroke victory at the Legend Golf & Safari Resort on Wednesday 15 May.
Slabbert closed with a 75 to finish on six-over-par 222, with Sweden's Caroline Larsson his nearest challenger on 234 after a 78.
Marlies Ross has received Senior National Colours (Protea) for the FINA World Champs.
