DEBUTANTES : A Fundraising initiative for Tuks RAG
Tuks RAG Queen Competition is an integral part of Tuks Rag where the aim is to develop registered female students between the ages 18 – 23 through active participation in fundraising and community projects. The competition takes place from the second semester every year until the February of the following year.
This Fundraising initiative at the University of Pretoria is to raise money for charity, and get these girls directly involved in the Charity efforts of Tuks RAG as well as affording them the opportunity to become the face of Tuks RAG by ultimately becoming the Tuks RAG Queen. This programme is about enriching the lives of the underprivileged and as a result enriching your life as well.
The competition is currently in the second round. The response has been overwhelming and the top forty debutantes were notified on the 15th of September. Now we are all looking forward to the crowning early next year. Many thanks go to the sponsors that make this event a success every year by supporting our girls as they work hard to improve the lives of many under privileged people
