Vision statement of internationalisation at the University of Pretoria

Internationalisation at the University of Pretoria will be a catalyst to take the leading minds into the world and to position the University of Pretoria as an institution of choice to strategic international partners and scholars. 

Internationalisation at the University of Pretoria is the process of intrinsically focusing on integrating an international, intercultural and global dimension into the purpose and core functions of the University as a catalyst for excellence. 

The Executive of the University of Pretoria places a very high premium on internationalisation of the Institution. UP has two divisions driving the internationalisation strategy as set out in the Strategic Plan, namely the Corporate International Relations Office (CIR) and the International Students Division (ISD).
