The Xstrata Chair in Pyrometallurgical Modelling (XCPM) in the Centre for Pyrometallurgy at the University of Pretoria's Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering invites B.Eng., B.Sc., M.Eng. and M.Sc. students to apply for studentships that are on offer. The XCPM group's activities are focused on research and innovation related to pyrometallurgical processes by applying a variety of mathematical modelling techniques. The XCPM is also committed to establishing and strengthening collaborative ties with other higher education institutions, research institutions and industry, both locally and internationally.
