Course structure and career paths

The curriculum consists of compulsory (core and specialist) and elective modules as well as a mini dissertation. It is primarily a web-based modular degree programme. Core and specialist modules are grouped into two career paths:

  • Career path 1 - Directed at field and regulatory veterinarians and health professionals
  • Career path 2 - Directed at managers and policy makers.

The compulsory core modules and the compulsory and elective modules for the 2 career paths are shown below. The credits for each module are given in brackets.
