About Aktua

Aktua is the student organisation to which all actuarial students automatically belong when they register for the BSc (Actuarial and Financial Mathematics) degree.

Aktua publishes the - Aktua Times - a bi-annual newsletter and we organise social, sports and career-orientated evenings.

The Department of Insurance and Actuarial Science strongly recommend students to attend these functions as it is the best place to mingle with students from other year groups and to pick up study tips and information on a variety of things.
