Competitive Members 

Our coaches are Professional & World Class. Our coaches are accredited with American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) and World Swim Coaches Association. The coaching times for competitive members are listed below. To contact one of the below mentioned coaches, or to verify the coaching times, please contact the office. 

 
  • Mon – Fri: 5:00 – 9:00 & 14:00 – 20:00
  • Sat: 7:00 – 12:00 & 15:30 – 17:30
  • Sun: 15:30 – 17:30

Non-Competitive Club Members

A non-competitive club member does learn to swim or is in the junior stroke development programme. The coaches are listed below, as well as the details about the Learn to Swim classes. The times are as follows:

  • Mon – Fri: 5:00 – 9:00 & 14:00 – 20:00
  • Sat: 7:00 – 12:00 & 15:30 – 17:30
  • Sun: 15:30 – 17:30

Learn to Swim
The ‘Learn to Swim’ programme is conducted by the accredited SA Swim coach, Anette Ross.

The programme consists of the following: 

  • Children from 3 to adults LTS
  • Water safety
  • Stroke technique of all four strokes
  • Stroke correction

The programme serves to feed the TuksSwimming Club entry level swimmers. Click here for office details.

Non-Competitive Recreational Members

A non-competitive member may use the pool during the below listed open times (all year around). A staff/ student of the university may access the pool during the same times (however, only during spring & summer):

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 11:00 – 14:00

  • Wednesday: 13:00 - 14:00

  • Saturday: 12:30 – 15:30

  • Sunday: 10:00 – 14:00 

Please familiarize yourself with the operating hours. Please note that anyone that utilizes the TuksAquatics facilities must be a registered club member/ staff member/ student of the university for the current year/ swimming season. Each person accessing the TuksAquatics Center must present his/ her own membership/ staff/ student card upon entry. Right of Admission Reserved.  All club members using the pool during winter must remember to roll the pool covers closed.The pool will be open to members/ staff/ students on the account of an available lifeguard.
