Overview of Alumni clubs and interest groups

Various social, cultural, sport clubs and special interest groups are affiliated to the TuksAlumni Office. Membership of these clubs are open to all alumni according to guidelines in the constitution of each club. Membership fees are payable as stipulated by the particular club committee annually.

The following clubs are affiliated:

• TuksClub 60+: Social club for all former students older than 60 years
• TuksAlumni Caravan Club: A social club for all former students interested in caravanning
• TuksAlumni Golf Club: Golf club for former students playing predominantly against similar clubs from other universities
• Roadrunners Club: Roadrunners club for former students competing in all the major marathons in South Africa. The club has been incorporated with the TuksSport Marathon Club since January 2011.

The following interest groups are affiliated:

• Tuks Dance Group: Learn to dance Ballroom and Latin Amercan dances and socialise. Classes and socials are exclusively presented by the student Dance Sport Club. Link to the Student Tuks Dance Sport Club's home page: http://www.dancesport.up.ac.za/
•  Food and Wine Guild: A social group that concentrates on the tasting and enjoyment of good wine.
• The AmaTuks Alumni Soccer Supporters Group: A support and social group that follows the AmaTuks soccer team

New interest groups such as a young alumni group is under investigation.
