Prof Geoffrey T. Fosgate

is a veterinary epidemiologist with extensive experience in the design, conduct, and completion of field and clinical investigations, analytical statistical and epidemiological methods, and working in multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary environments. His research interests include public health and zoonoses and his expertise is the validation of diagnostic tests for surveillance and control of infectious diseases of cattle. His has active research projects concerning foot-and-mouth disease, brucellosis, and Johne’s disease in addition to clinical studies for which he consults. He will continue to develop his clinical epidemiological skills and generate new analytical approaches for the validation of diagnostic tests.
