Verslag deur prof Heyns van UP in EU-resolusie oorweeg

Die Europese Parlement het op 27 Februarie 2014 Resolusie 2014/2567(RSP) oor die gebruik van onbemande gevegsvliegtuie aanvaar waarin dit besorgdheid uitspreek oor die dood van duisende burgerlikes na die gebruik van onbemande gevegsvliegtuie. Die Europese Parlement se resolusie volg op verslae wat in 2013 aan die VN se Algemene Vergadering en Menseregteraad voorgelÍ is deur, onder andere, die VN se spesiale rapporteur oor buitegeregtelike, parate of arbitrÍre eksekusie, professor Christof Heyns, wat ook die mededirekteur van die Instituut vir Internasionale Reg en Regsvergelyking in Afrika in die Fakulteit Regsgeleerdheid aan die Universiteit van Pretoria is.
