Programme at a glance

The scientific programme consists of four academic sessions. Each session will cover a specific group of diseases (i.e.: viral, protozoan, bacterial and helminthic). Each session will address a specific cross-cutting issue such as burden of disease assessment, the role of the animal reservoir, the scope (or missed opportunities) for intersectoral collaboration, etc. The colloquium is preceded by a day of satellite workshops on various subjects. On the eve of the colloquium, a special academic session in honour of the life and work of Prof Peter Van den Bossche (ITM, †11/11/2010) will be organised.
