Blast from the PastPosted on 27 August 2010 Estelle Zeeman's "The Red Light Canteen" opened on 26 August to a packed house and an appreciative audience. "The Red Light Canteen", with its collage of characters and emotions, takes the viewer to Barberton circa 1887 and introduces some key historical figures (and legends!) from that time and place, including Cockney Liz, Percy Fitzpatrick, the Golden Dane, French Bob, Stafford Parker and Wheelbarrow Patterson.
