SRC Donate-a-Textbook Campaign

The Donate-a-Textbook campaign aims to help students who cannot afford textbooks.

On the 24th of August the SRC launched its Donate-a-Textbook campaign in which students are asked to donate their old textbooks. The aim of this project is to establish a library from which students, who cannot afford textbooks, can loan the books for the semester. The ultimate aim is to create a culture at Tuks where students donate their textbooks rather than selling them.

The campaign has so far been a huge success, with over 400 books collected including a large donation from Pearson Education. However, many more currently prescribed books are needed. Textbooks can be brought to the offices of the SRC at Roosmaryn on Main Campus.
