UP SRC transport survey

The 2012 Student Representative Council wants to determine where the University of Pretoria could introduce new bus services for students living around Campus. Below is a very short survey that will hopefully give us insight into the areas which have the highest volume of students that need transport to and from Campus.

The current bus services operate between the LC de Villiers Sports Grounds and the Groenkloof Campus, and the Hatfield Campus. These were introduced to alleviate the parking crisis on the Hatfield Campus.

The SRC wants to ask the University to introduce a bus route which will ensure that students do not have to walk home during the evening if they live close to the Campus, along with promoting class attendance by ensuring that students are able to get to Campus easily.

This survey serves to assess which transport issues students (living within the Hatfield Campus area of the University of Pretoria) are facing.

This survey is merely a needs assessment conducted by the SRC, and should not in any way create an expectation or claim against the University of Pretoria or its Student Representative Council in respect of the issues measured therein
