Launch of the University of Pretoria mobile application: 24 May 2012By Education InnovationPosted on 22 May 2012  We are proud to announce the launch of two mobile applications. You are invited to attend the launch of the UP as well as clickUP mobile applications. The University of Pretoria is the first University in South Africa that provides comprehensive mobile services to students. These services give students and lecturers on-demand access to their clickUP modules and library resources. They can, amongst other things, stay informed about news and activities. Students and guests can navigate campus maps if needed. The UP mobile application will officially be introduced by Prof Antonie de Klerk. Prof De Klerk will also share information about new initiatives to increase wireless access on Campus. Prof Wendy Kilfoil will introduce the clickUP mobile application. This application has been used by more than 6 700 students since the beginning of 2012. Information about interesting future developments will also be provided.
