The TuksAlumni Office organised a few interesting events recently. The dynamic Stefan Swanepoel addressed alumni at a business breakfast, and the guests could not stop asking him questions. The Super Seniors met Tobie Cronjé and TuksClub 60+ met Louis van Niekerk, while functions were held for entrepreneurs and alumni in Eersterust.

The Reynekes have a long history with Tuks - 18/06/2013

The University of Pretoria has played an important role in the history of the extended Reyneke family since 1936. Kobus Reyneke, eldest son of the well-known radio minister, Rev Johan Reyneke, was one of the second group of Theology students who graduated at Tukkies.

Close to Hoedspruit in Mpumalanga, there is a safe haven for all kinds of wild animals: those that face extinction, those that are injured, and, of course, little orphans. The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is owned and run by Lente Roode, a remarkable woman who loves cheetahs.
