Education field at the University of Pretoria amongst top 200 in the worldPosted on 30 August 2012 The Education field as a scientific discipline at the University of Pretoria rates amongst the top 200 in the world. The recent rankings by the QS World University Rankings of 2012 rate Education at UP between number 151 and 200 in the world. The 2012 QS World University Ranking for Education lists the best universities in the world to study education. Measurement for performance includes a global survey of academic reputation, a global survey of employer reputation and citations of the scientific work published by researchers. In addition, staff-to-student ratios and the percentage of international staff and students are also measured. Published annually since 2004, the QS World University Rankings® is regarded by many as the most trusted university ranking in the world.
