2012 Distinguished Women in Science honours to Liesel EbersöhnPosted on 29 August 2012  Prof Liesel Ebersöhn was named a finalist in the 2012 Distinguished Women in Science Awards, in the Social Sciences and Humanities category. The finalists were named at a function of the Department of Science and Technology on Friday, 24 August 2012. The Women in Science Awards seek to recognise women scientists and researchers in the country and to profile successful women scientists whose distinguished achievements in research and innovation are an inspiration to the nation, particularly to young women and girls.
