UP representatives visit University of International Relations in Beijing

The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof Irma Eloff, recently accompanied UP Vice-Principal, Prof Stephanie Burton, on a visit to the University of International Relations (UIR) in Beijing, China.

They met with Professor Liu Hui, President of UIR, and Prof Hao Min, Vice-Director of the UIR Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. The visit also included discussions with the Dean of International Relations, Professor Lin Hongyu.
 
The University of International Relations was established in 1949 and has approximately 3 000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The students at this institution, who are in residence, specialise in Political Science, Economics and Languages. The UIR pursues the virtues of loyalty, diligence, practicality and innovation in all its academic endeavours.
