Notice of a mass meeting to be held by NEHAWU

Notice is hereby given to all concerned that the NEHAWU: UP Branch will conduct a mass meeting from 12:30 to 16:00 on 16 August 2012 as indicated above.

Managers and supervisors who have NEHAWU members as subordinates reporting to them are requested to allow such members to attend the meeting concerned.

If employees are required to perform essential services their prospective absence must be cleared and agreed upon with their immediate supervisors, and alternative arrangements must be made to guarantee the uninterrupted performance of these essential services. Leave to attend the meeting may not be withheld unreasonably if alternative arrangements are at all feasible.

The prospective arrangements as indicated above are in accordance with the provisions of the existing recognition agreement between the University of Pretoria and NEHAWU.
