Notice of a Mass Meeting to be held by NEHAWU: UP Branch

Notice is hereby given to all parties concerned that the NEHAWU: UP Branch will conduct a Mass Meeting on 27 March 2012 between 14:00 to 16:00 at the Main Campus in Room IT 2-27, IT Building.
Managers and supervisors with employees who are NEHAWU members reporting to them are requested to allow these employees to attend the above mentioned meeting.
Should employees be required to perform essential services, these employees’ absence must be cleared and agreed upon with their immediate supervisors and alternative arrangements have to be made to prevent jeopardising the execution of these essential services. Leave to attend the meeting may not unreasonably be withheld if alternative arrangements are at all feasible.
The above arrangements are in accordance with the provisions of the existing recognition agreement between the University of Pretoria and NEHAWU.
