PG Dip Dent ORD700

Requirements: A BChD or equivalent degree in Dentistry and registration with the HPCSA

Duration: 1-2 years part time

Selection: Based on a minimum mark of 65% in pre-graduate Orthodontics

Content: Oral Biology, Orthodontics, Contact weeks, Seminars, Clinical cases and Exams

 

MSc Dent

Requirements: A BChD or equivalent degree in Dentistry and registration with the HPCSA

Duration: Minimum of 2 years part time

Selection: Based on additional post graduate qualifications in Dentistry

Content: Research methodology, Orthodontics, Research, Dissertation and Exams

 

MChD

Requirements: A BChD or equivalent degree in Dentistry plus additional post graduate qualifications in Dentistry as well as and registration with the HPCSA in the category of Independent General Practitioner

Duration: 4 years full time

Selection: Based on additional post graduate qualifications and availability of funded posts

Content: Anatomy, Physiology, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Attendance/Subsidiary Subjects, Clinical cases, Research, Dissertation and Exams

 

PhD

Requirements: A BChD or equivalent degree in Dentistry plus a master’s degree in Orthodontics as well as and registration with the HPCSA

Duration: 3-5 years part time

Content: Research and Thesis
