Vice-Chancellor proud of Golden FourBy Morris GilbertPosted on 02 August 2012 The Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Pretoria, Prof Cheryl de la Rey, is very proud of the Olympic Gold Medal Matthew Brittain, Lawrence Ndlovu, John Smith and James Thompson won in their rowing event on Thursday at the 2012 London Summer Games. “Well done, Tukkies, you have made us proud.” According to Prof De la Rey, UP has all the right ingredients for success: dedication, hard work and commitment. “We are very proud that our University has contributed 32 members to Team SA,” the Principal said. |
