Safety on campusses - Green Route Project

It is important to the University that students are safe on campus in the evenings and thus the “green route project” was created. 

Safe Green Routes

Security officials escort students on foot between 18:00 to 06:00 on weekdays and weekends to and their vehicles or residences. 

Students and staff may contact the Operational Management Centre at any time to request a security escort. 
 

Safety tips

• Avoid isolated areas when alone.
• Be vigilant of suspicious persons loitering in the immediate vicinity.
• Report all crime, no matter how insignificant, to the nearest police station or to security services.
• Pay attention to your surroundings.
• Take responsibility for your own safety.
