This year the annual conference, SACLA 2010, is being hosted by the Department of Informatics at the University of Pretoria.

The theme of the conference is "Scoring IT education goals in 2010"

This year the conference dates precedes the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), also being hosted by the Department of Informatics at the University of Pretoria (7-9 June 2010), as well as the Soccer World cup, so you could extend your stay and attend an International Conference and watch a Soccer game or two.
