TuksHockey end of year on a high note
TuksHockey Dinner 2011
Lifa Khumalo
On Friday the 23rd of September 2011 TuksHockey hosted its annual year end dinner. This year it was undoubtedly themed spring tying in with the season. An array of guests graced our newly renovated clubhouse with their jubilant presence with about 20 TUKS sport delegates making it onto the guest list.
All attendees were greeted with a chilled glass of bubbly, to set the evening off on a good note of course! After a long and rewarding season, what better way to end the official season off! With most of the guests being from within the club the vibe was set: a genuinely good night was to be had by all! With everyone kitted out in their “floral” attire; the clubhouse seemed like a brand new place.
What would a dinner be without HPC’s mouth watering and healthy meal and of course the club’s members?! Once the speeches were done and the tummies were full the dance floor was officially open. If you have been to any of our social events you would know that know that there ain’t no party like a TuksHockey party! Our new TuksHockey President, Mr Blaze Sommerville and the Alumni opened a limitless bar tab for the club’s ever thankful members.
How successful would a club be if it didn’t reward its members; TuksHockey definitely does know how to do this and what better platform to do this than our year end dinner.
