The first student account for the present study year will be mailed at the end of February. Thereafter, student accounts will be available 24/7 on the web.
Student accounts must be paid as follows:
- 50% of the account on or before 30 April
- 100% payable on or before 31 July each year
Accounts must be paid in order to receive or access examination results. A discount of 2.5% is granted if the account is settled in full by 31 March. The amount awarded for this discount will only be visible on the April account. The rebate is determined by the amount paid by the student or the amount paid on the student’s behalf – but it excludes all UP loans and bursaries, as well as NSFAS loans.
Accounts may change. The reason for this is that subjects are cancelled or others are registered for. You are therefore kindly requested to check your statement online – in particular before making final payments, after commencement of the second semester and before examinations take place.
Note: The student’s responsibility to pay fees does not depend on the receipt of a statement of account.
Outstanding student accounts for the present year as well as the residence reservation fee for the next year must be fully paid in order to reserve placement for the following year.
