Women's Golf South Africa (WGSA) held an official training camp at the Univesity of Pretoria from Friday 21 to 22 January.
This training camp forms part of the holistic development plans of WGSA to up-skill their talented players from around the country.
The group of athletes stayed at the prestigious High Performance Centre where they completed various sport sciences testing protocols on Friday. Saturday they attended a formal training session presented by WGSA National Coach, Val Holland, at the TuksGolf Training Centre at Wingate Park Country Club.
"It was amazing to see the skill level of the players. I really hope that they will be able to bring the athletes back later in the year to see how they improved from what they have learned during these training sessions." - says Stephen Chapman - TuksGolf Junior Coach.
Two players that also formed part of the group of athletes is pupils of the TuksSport High School and train with TuksGolf Academies on a full time basis.
