AmaTuks had a narrow escape against Carara Kicks.

The match between Carara Kicks and University of Pretoria was a tightly contested one with Carara dictating matters in the first half. They put AmaTuks under a lot of pressure, which paid off when a Tuks defender was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area, and Carara scored the opening goal from the resulting penalty AmaTuks created very few chances in the first half and could find their rythm in the game. The half time score was 1-0 in favour of Carara.

Coach Barker made a double substitution at half time with kabelo Ramongane and Esau Mtsweni replacing Junior Sibande and Chibuzor Nwagbo. The substitutions seemed to have a positive effect on the game as the pace picked up and Tuks were creating more chances than in the first half. In the 65th minute Nqobile Mpala replaced Seydouba Soumah. Super Sub Mpala scored the equalizing goal from a header in the 86th minute and the match ended 1-1. Tuks extend they unbeaten run to 9 games.
