‘Ses Snare’ performs in Leo Haese Lunch Hour Concert

Six guitars, six voices, well-known hit songs, enjoyable guitar arrangements and guys who swept the audience off their feet with their voices – this is how one can describe what happened when the famous group, ‘Ses Snare’, performed in the lunch hour concert on 13 March. The group’s performances have been very popular at music festivals and in theatres across the country, and Thursday’s concert showed UP students and staff members why.

In March 2010 all the artworks by the famous South African pioneer sculptor, Anton van Wouw, were moved from the Van Wouw House Museum on the corner of Rupert and Clarke Streets in Brooklyn to the Edoardo Villa Museum on the main campus of the University of Pretoria. This move was done for security reasons. At the same time the curator, Mr. Daniel Mosako, was also moved to the main campus.
