'Stories uit die kou' - a production in co-operation with UP ArtsBy UP ArtsPosted on 18 August 2010  In his debut production, "Stories uit die kou", Neil MacDonald of Verniel tells anecdotes from the experiences that led to a selection of the many, many songs he has written in the past decade. This promising songwriter, musician and stage artist shares the stage with CJ Mostert on piano and accordion, Louis Jones on bass guitar and percussion, and Jacques du Toit on guitar. “Stories uit die kou” promises a convivial evening with music and song in the good company of Verniel.
