Memorial Lecture: 'Albertina Sisulu: A Reflection on Leadership'

On the 5th August 2011 at 12h30 until 13h30, the Institute for Womens and Gender Studies presents a memorial lecture entitled "Albertina Sisulu: A Reflection on Leadership" and given by Elinor Sisulu, the official biographer of the Sisulu family.
Elinor Sisulu was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She has a Masters degree from the ISS in Development Studies and was a Fellow of the Bunting Institute at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, MA, USA. Her biography on the Sisulus won the prestigious Noma Award in 2003. She is currently a member of the Crisis Coalition of Zimbabwe, which she co-founded in 2004.
The memorial lecture will be held at the Graduate Centre, in lecture theatre L 1-64, on the University of Pretoria Hatfield Campus.
