The Institute for Women's and Gender Studies would like to invite interested parties to attend an exclusive seminar on "Highly Educated Women in Tanzania: Opportunities and Constraints for Constructing Educational Agency" given by visiting Finnish scholar Mari-Anne Okkolin, M.Soc.Sc., and to be hosted at the Institute's seminar room (Human Sciences Building, 20-18) on the 2nd of March 2011 at 11:00-12:00 o' clock.
In the seminar, Anne will share her insights acquired for her doctoral research, where she investigated to what extent the development practices implemented through education sector policies correspond with individual experiences.
