The TuksOpen Tournament 2013 was a huge success. The tournament was held at the TuksTennis Club on the TuksTennis courts at the University of Pretoria Sports Grounds. Played over two weekends starting on the 2nd and 3rd of March and concluding the 9th and 10th March, many players entered this fantastic event.

The Tuks Club Championships was recently held on the 16th and 17th of March. 55 student players from the University of Pretoria played in this tournament and challenged each other to see who the top players are! The aim of the Club champs was to identify the top six boys and girls at the TuksTennis Club, who will represent the University of Pretoria at Sun City this year.

With the conclusion of the ITF Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup - the most prestigious tennis event ever staged in this country - great admiration was served up for South Africa's finest wheelchair tennis players. The team of 12 players, four coaches and one team manager were hand selected to compete in a pool of 300 players from 34 nations. South Africa was entered into four divisions: Men's', Group II, Women's, Quad's, and Junior's.
