Department of Social Work & Criminology

Welcome to the Department of Social Work and Criminology

Social work and criminology deal with the impact of social problems that emerge from people’s interaction with their environment. Social problems, such as crime, child abuse, and HIV and AIDS, affect people of all socio-economic spheres and of all age groups. Our department is committed to train students, conduct research and engage in community activities in order to respond to the constantly changing needs of different groups in society.
