Assessment Workshop for Academic Staff

UP staff members with teaching responsibilities are invited to attend the three-day Assessment Workshop.

The workshop aims to enhance planning and conducting assessment practice.

The following aspects will be addressed:

• principles of assessment and planning for accountable assessment 
• a variety of specific assessment methods.

The first day of the workshop addresses basic principles and planning for assessment. On the second and third days, a series of sessions on specific assessment methods (e.g. written exams, orals, practical exams, portfolios) will be presented.
