The MSc (Research based) degree in Veterinary Science is a general research degree. It requires completion of a specific research project and submission of a dissertation. In some instances, additional course work may be required. A module in research methodology is compulsory.
The degree is offered by all Departments in the Faculty and students are allocated to Departments according to their interest.
Admission requirements
Candidates should be in possession of a BSc(Hons), four-year BSc(Agric), BVSc or equivalent degree. An entrance test may be required as well as an English proficiency test (TOEFL).
The minimum duration is one year and may be extended to three years.
